Yeah, it sucks. It looks like a fantasy football league trophy. Anything would be better; the shopping cart, a mounted chunk of highway asphalt, anything.

I though they should have designed the trophy around a block of concrete taken out of the actual I-35 freeway. Still--Its a game that should be played every year. Its going to contunue to grow in popularity. I think Latech and ULL could be a huge rivaly for Louisiana if they played it annually. Those two fan bases hate each other with Texas vs Texas A&M passion. Those simmering passionate rivalries are the kind that can develop into statewide traditions that garner nationwide attention.
