Its an old fashioned tug of war with Lawson.

I think their predictions are pretty much spot on, which is a rarity these days.

Hurt will likely end up at Kansas. When it all boils down we are #3 or #4 on his list.

I think we are #2 for Watford but as always I could be wrong here, jmo.

As they say on the corner, recruiting is fluid.

Hurt is not coming to Madness - he gone.
Lawsons say Chandler is not being recruited by Penny. Where's the tug?

Of course that's not true. But with no plans for an official visit...and with nothing else going on the night of MM...and with it being one of the biggest events of the CBB preseason...and with him stating he is going to commit early...

the writing is on the wall.

Again, he was a longshot - white kid from Minny who everyone is after. I would've loved to have him, but not really a loss.

I'm not saying we will or won't end up with Hurt or Wiseman or anyone. But I will say that strange things happen in recruiting every year and to count your chickens or throw the eggs away months before signing day is just a little premature, that's all.

Even with Josh, several kids who "weren't" coming signed with us and a few who we were sure we'd get went somewhere else.

It ain't over lil its over. And it ain't over yet.

It's a loss. Hurt is a top 5 player but he was never coming here. He will make whoever he plays for (Kansas) a better team.
