That is definitely an interesting picture of the past several years. AAC P6 bluster is a bunch of crap but still brilliant marketing by their commish. I like that we’re up on the AAC 2-0 this year.



MWC is 16-3 against non-P5 OOC opponents so far this year (although many of those wins are against FCS cupcakes). We’ve gone 3-5 against the PAC and have even knocked out an SEC win (good job CSU). Overall I’d say the MWC is trending up.

For the first part, I notice he didnt copy and paste the comments that were just the COMPLETED seasons: 2025-2017, 39-24 (.619), with overall winning record vs every G4 conference and .500 or better each season vs every G4 conference.

Then he comes with 16-3...which includes FCS. Hey, Deldeaux, we've got 8 wins vs FCS too that might change the picture you're painting.

Every time he posts it's like an unintentional class in flawed use of data.

The mwc and their obsession with us is just sad.

The WMC isn't a bad conference. It's just that nobody cares about the MWC.

This was a bit surprising to me when I first started tracking ratings years ago. They are often the only game in town albeit late at night. Truth be told, the MAC draws better with their niche though both adversely affect attendance. I used to think the late kickoffs would be the thing to push them past the AAC, but the American has held its' own and then some against competition.

It’s really just the old WAC without its top teams. Nice little G4 conference. If they have an inferiority complex now—just wait until the AAC gets a big pay increase. That ought to be good for a completel MW Board meltdown.

Right---becasue they are one of only two conferences who can fill the late night slot on ESPN-U when only 15% of the nation is even awake. They dont seem capable of comprehending that when the potential audience for a tv slot is only 15% of the whole----then there is a glass ceiling on how much any network can pay to fill that slot because the value of a ratings share is much less at that time of night (smaller audience). Gotta understand---they can get almost the same audience (perhaps more) by just the re-running the big SEC/Big 10 game from earlier in the day in that late ESPN-U slot. Assuming the MW game would draw more folks---then that delta is the MW value for being late night filler for that slot.
