Back in 1973, the media started doing stake-outs of various people that were “involved” or accused of being “involved” in the great political hurricane of Watergate. These were people who had never (up ’til then) been famous at all. The wife (Gail Magruder) of one of those men (Jeb Magruder) later wrote a book about how frightening that experience was when she first realized what was happening; how violated she felt that her privacy and dignity were being shredded. She had four young (<13) children at the time. Anything “normal” about their childhood ended in those days; the Magruders divorced in 1984. Many years later, she also claimed that both of her parents, and both of her ex-husband’s parents died prematurely in reaction to all the stress and notoriety. Impossible to prove that one way or the other, but still a poignant reminder of how traumatic these things can be when it’s your life that’s constantly being talked about and gossiped about by millions of people who have never met you.

Anyone know if Andrew McCabe's home has been staked out? Comey? I did see a photo of Gummy leaving home with her, ummmm, hubby. That was published in the British press. I'm betting overall though, since the media would rather see that story (the FBI used by the Magic Man's administration to spy on a rival campaign) just go away, that there's been little to no attention paid to those folks.
