My stepdaughter is a freshman at Auburn and it's Parent's Weekend there in ten days when they play Southern Miss. I'll be there wearing an Auburn cap but I'll secretly be pulling for a Golden Eagle upset :)

I appreciate the support, but you will probably enjoy the game more siding with your daughter in this game. We just hope to avoid injuries, pick up the check and head home. How I miss the decades when we could not only compete with teams like Auburn, but win some of them.

I just hope the game is played, if Southern Miss will duck App there is very little chance they take the field versus Auburn.

The weather for this game is looking like it will be a partly cloudy forecast. Southern Miss Athletic department is keeping a close eye on the weather situation. I think we have already offered to Auburn to move the game to Hattiesburg. Just waiting on their response at this point.
