herosports had a good write-up on this game today yesterday too, i thought https://herosports.com/fcs/football-2018...edium=Link
That hero article was nonsense. They made a big deal about JMU’s start to the season, but completely overlooked W&M had as much, if not more disruptions. W&M even had students evacuate campus for awhile.
Sorry if the outcome bores people, but this game is going to be a cakewalk for JMU.

RE: Game Preview Article: W&M @ #2 JMU
Am I the only one that actually sees the disruptions as a positive? All teams deal with adversity. Good teams handle the adversity and overcome them. We have had a lot already this season and I'm incredibly impressed in the way our team has handled it.
If this team had any other coach, I would say I would have been concerned these last few weeks in addition to this weekend. Not with this staff. Not with this team.
Muscles get stronger when the fibers are torn. They don't get strong by wrapping them up in bubble wrap and keeping them safe. This team has been getting stronger (mentally for sure) and if anything these disruptions will only make this team that much better. If things are too easy all season, a team may not know how to handle it when things get rough.
Obviously we've only faced one opponent that was a true challenge, but I would say having the changes in schedule these last few weeks have tested our team in different ways. Of course those games weren't in doubt, but some teams may have struggled with those distractions. JMU vs CCSU for the first game at New Bridgeforth comes to mind. Lots of distraction and our team did not play well. CCSU had no business even being in that game, yet they were and they almost beat us.
We'll see what this team is truly capable of this weekend. I don't think this game will be close. If it is, perhaps we should be a little concerned, but I seriously doubt it.

So there could be the 20-17 WM over JMU scoreline as the Best Case, and a 52-7 JMU victory as the Worst Case. I think it would be a great addition to the coverage, a way to avoid claims of homer-ism, and, hopefully, less confusing to readers.
Love the "Best Case Scenario" suggestion -- thanks! I've updated the article to reflect the change. We'll definitely be running with that moving forward for our preview articles.
