They also just gave him an extension through 2024 and a pay bump to $3.8 mil last off-season after UT tried hiring him. I doubt he gets fired this year but he would be a program changing hire.

I'll preface this with saying it will never happen. But a man can dream. Out of all the P5 coaches that are on the hot seat, Kliff Kingsbury would be the best option. He's young, he can recruit and he's got a fun offense to watch. He'd be a great answer to Kiffin at FAU.

I thought for sure that there was no way, even in at our worst, that we would lose to vmi on the basketball court. Our worst basketball team proved me wrong. This is our worst football team.... just saying, it’s not even close to outside the realm of possibility......

LOL i think Ever is simply stating that a bunch of OD'd coaches with impaired physical and mental condition can do way better job at coaching the VT team than what Wilder and crew can do with a sound body and mind.

I would take the bet that the ODU/VT game is closer than ODU/VMI. VMI was a 48.5 underdog to Toledo (who, granted, is a decent team).
