Who is making the trek to Tallahassee? Where are Huskie fans going Friday night?

I am flying to Atlanta Thursday night, should be in Tallahassee by early afternoon Friday.

Head down to College Town... lots of new restaurants and bars. It is located near the stadium and campus and will provide plenty of "sight seeing" opportunities.

There is also a concert downtown, near the capitol building that night... just a 5 minute drive from College Town, where there is a great cover band for those that enjoy Yacht Rock.

Other than that, lots of restaurants spread out, and bars will be packed with older people as it is also Parents Weekend.

If you want a true dive bar experience, where each time you order a pitcher, you spin for a free one, go to Poor Paul's Pourhouse... I went here a lot in college and still make a trip back now and then. It is a local find for sure!

I'll be there... My stepson and his buddy fly into Atlanta on Thursday night (I'm here for work). Driving down Friday morning, will definitely hit the College Town area.

Thanks for the tip on the brewery... Was going to do some digging for craft joints.

Look forward to seeing some Huskie fans in Tallahassee and would love nothing more than to come home with a victory. Proof Brewery looks like a spot I will have to check out

For those of you flying out of Hartsfield there a lot of places with craft beer. Look for Scofflaw and Three Taverns out of Atlanta and Creature Comforts or Southern Brewing out of Athens. All good craft brewers.

Bullwinkle's on Tennessee used to be the older folk bar. Is that still the case?

Is anyone going to be tailgating? We are driving up that morning and plan to tour (self guided) campus as my daughter is a HS senior bit if we have time I would like to hang out with some fellow Huskies.

Donald Tucker Civic Center

Been to multiple bars in Tally tonight, does not feel like the eve of a game in a major college town. Either their is less interest than there might have been when college sports had more of a following, or the Noles fans just aren’t real excited about their team right now.
