What I Liked About the Miami Game
1) Mitch G: I haven't decided to just call him just Mitch or Mitch G Money. He took some hits, got back up and started plugging away again. I like guy with some grit.

2) Our wide receivers: Miami could shutdown Cody but not Dionte. We have to enjoy him. I don't think he will be back next year.

Those two things are important, because I'm not sure how our running game will go yet this season. Our passing should keep defenses off of the line and help to open up some holes.

3) It was great to see huge crowd again. It was a lot of fun. I didn't care about the concession lines. I knew they would be long. Hopefully they at least create a plan for in the event we sell that many tickets again.

2.5) I liked that Mitch G could hit Dionte long and right on the Money. I was not expecting that.

I wonder whether Miami had their best DB on Cody, or whether the plan was to take it a little easy on him coming back from the injury. Either way, one guy is as dangerous as the other, so defenses have to pick their poison.

Mitch should only get better. Which means the Offense will really open up.

Yes! I second all of that. Not to mention Cody and Dionte are complemented by other guys capable of taking it to the house. I'm excited by those prospects.

I think the run game will be solid as the oline gets comfortable working together. It will be even better if we get cotterman and atariwa back at some point. Atariwa is our best run blocker when healthy. Cotterman is better than Kassem.

i liked that toledo PROVED yet again they can hang with the best the power conferences have to offer.

they've made a mockery of the big ten a few times, imagine if toledo would have destroyed miami by half time. no longer could people ignore that toledo deserves better than to be called a "mid major"

Well they better get their act together fast as good chance attendance is higher for HC game vs BGSU (drew over 30,000 in 2016)
