What I find fascinating is how strengths become weaknesses and vice versa
There is an old saying that generals are always fighting the LAST war. This is, instead of saying the last war is history, but the next one will most likely be unlike it.

Ditto with football seasons...

One which hasn't been discussed here too much is kicking.

Last year kicking cost us a number of games. Lest I forgot, kicking vs. Purdue got us a big win in that game. Clutch FG to win it.

Punting has been very good.

Go figure.

We thought after Roback graduated that quarterbacking would be a real concern. It hasn't been.

One poster suggested that our DL could be one for the ages, yet it hasn't been close to what we hoped.

OTOH, we were concerned about our OL and run game and those worries have been justified.
