FPCT .983 (2nd for 3B)
Pretty good numbers, yet not his best in a lot of categories
AVG .312 - 7th
OPS .918 - 9th
2B 43 - tied 5th
FPCT .980 -- must have made an error last night
Nats made 2 errors Tuesday night - Wieters & Cordero. Anthony has 6 errors on the season, but none last night.

Underappreciated
Quote:“No, I really feel like it’s the same as usual,” Rendon said, ever allergic to self-praise, when asked if anything has clicked for him in the last month. “Maybe defenders are a little tired because it’s late in the season. So maybe my balls are falling more.”

I assume that is not an anatomical reference?

0x3 in the final game (for them) today so he ends the season with a .308 average, 24 homers and 92 RBI. Also 44 doubles, which will end up tying for the NL lead.
Looks like 2 bonus tie-breaker games tomorrow in the NL too (Milwaukee at Chicago and Colorado at Los Angeles) since most likely both the NL Central and NL West will have two teams who tie for the division title (winner gets a bye into the NLDS and the losers play each other in the wild card game). That's always fun logistics for the teams involved - you could have a situation for say the Rockies where they fly to LA tonight, play the Dodgers tomorrow, then fly to either Chicago or Milwaukee for the wildcard game Tuesday, and then start the NLDS Thursday (although at least in that case it's a quick trip from Chicago to Milwaukee, or vice-versa).

Anthony may be the most underrated player in MLB. He ended the year 4th in the league in average, 5th in OPS, 6th in slugging. 10th in OBP an tied for the lead in doubles. Last I heard he led the NL 3rd baseman in fielding pct.
