Game moved from Saturday afternoon to Thursday at 4 pm to avoid Hurricane.

They could have just cancelled the game like some teams ...

**** off. Considering it was a 4pm game on a Thursday where fans had like 2 days of notice and were busy getting prepared foe the upcoming storm, we had a decent turnout.

It was actually about 24 hours notice. But we really appreciate the cheap shot from the Marshall fan. I am sure word of the hurricane hasn't reached Huntington yet.

If we take care of business against Liberty, I expect a North Texas sellout when we return to host LA Tech on the 29th.

MARKETS!!!!!!!!!!

We don't have an obese jobless local fanbase collecting disability benefits so it's tough for our fans to make it to 4pm weekday games.

Ha!!! I just spit my coffee all over the place.

I have never been to West Virginia, so I have to real understanding of the socioeconomic characteristics of the state, other then the persistent stereotypes, but that was just mean and funny. Points for you.

LOL...good one. Keep the excuses coming. Rest of us will draw more for a spring game than you do for regular season games.

If a game takes place in the middle of a huge market, but no one is there to see it, did it really happen?

From the looks of these standings, yes it looks like it happened:

East
Charlotte 1-0 1.000 2-1 0.667
FIU 1-0 1.000 2-1 0.667
Marshall 0-0 0.000 2-0 1.000
Florida Atlantic 0-0 0.000 2-1 0.667
Middle Tennessee 0-0 0.000 1-2 0.333
WKU 0-0 0.000 0-3 0.000
Old Dominion 0-2 0.000 0-3 0.000

Thanks for asking.

Attendance smack in a conference full of glass houses.

Funny.

If we can somehow win this week, 9-29 should be a sellout in Denton. If we show up well and lose a close one it should still be up there.

Lets hope for the best. That kind of potential energy is sorely needed in CUSA.

If anything, Charlotte getting 8K in the stands at 4 P.M. on a workday, in the midst of hurricane preparation is admirable. I readily give Charlotte a pass. Good jobs guys. I am not 100% sure we would get 8K for ODU in similar situation.

Marshall wouldn't either.

As long as North Texas beats Liberty on Saturday, our game on the 29th will be a sellout. North Texas fans are crawling out of the woodwork after our Arkansas win. Plus, before the game on the 29th, we will be breaking ground on our new indoor practice facility, and unveiling our new Mean Joe Greene statue at Apogee. If LA Tech could pull an upset against LSU, that would certainly add intrigue to the game, but LT could get stomped by LSU, and this game will still be a sellout, provided UNT take out Liberty.

Not with 24 hours notice on a Thursday afternoon, in the path of a hurricane. You are a special kind of idiot aren't you.

UTSA should have another 30-40k showing on Saturday vs Texas St. or more. Too bad we 0-3. But we play Texas St UTEP & Rice all in a row
