RE: Heisman Watch
Nice pub for our looming matchup COGS

8. Darrell Henderson, RB, Memphis

"Alright, Darrell Henderson; we hear you and we are giving you recognition — so you can stop running over people every time you touch the ball to get our attention now."

"In all seriousness, the past two weeks for the Memphis Tigers running back have been absolutely insane. The first week of the season, Henderson had only nine carries, but still put up a solid line of 76 yards and a touchdown while also reeling in a 62-yard touchdown reception."

"However, his last two weeks have been a huge step up. In Week 2 at Navy, Henderson went off for 212 yards on 13 carries, finding the end zone three times. This week during a Friday evening contest, he exploded again with 14 carries for 233 yards and two touchdowns against Georgia State. For those at home, that 521 yards and six rushing touchdowns along with one receiving score in three games. Take notice of this kid, without a doubt."
7. Drew Lock, QB, Missouri

""We knew coming into this season that Missouri Tigers quarterback Drew Lock, when able, was going to put up monster numbers. That’s what he did for much of last season in the offense and he’s asked to air it out quite a bit for this team to succeed. He did so, in fact, to open the year with dominant games against UT Martin and Wyoming. However, the question was if that would continue as the competition took a slight uptick against Purdue this week".

"Lock didn’t falter hardly at all, save for a lone interception, which is only his first of the year. The Mizzou signal-caller finished the game 26-of-43 for 375 yards and three touchdowns, adding another rushing score to his credit as well. What’s more, that gives him 13 total touchdowns through only three game and already 1,062 yards passing on the year. The numbers are there and, if Lock can muster up big moments in some upcoming big games, he can move up these Heisman rankings."
