RE: JMU @ WVU 2019
WVU coach Neal Brown on the Neal Brown Coaches Show:"The NFL Scouts tell us that James Madison has more Senior NFL prospects than we do."
Tony Caridi asks Neal Brown if he has ever had a younger defense coming into a season? Neal says no.
Neal Brown is very confident in his special teams with an LSU grad transfer punter Josh Growden who is also an excellent holder. Says their kicker is more confident with Growden holding too.

I'll stack our Aussie punter up with anyone. What a weapon he is and can tackle too. Tough kid.

On defense Robinson (likely draft pick), Carter, Daka
On offense Riley Stapleton (won’t be available for WVU)
Besides those 4, who else?
I could name 4-5 other guys that are maybe LONG shots. Guess it depends on what the definition of a ‘prospect’ is..

Sr. prospects you may have it covered, but looking forward to next year’s draft, there are Jr. prospects as well, Liam being the most obvious. There’s a good depth of talent on this roster.

Well, 15 for WVU, and 11 for JMU. So the WVU HC was just throwing out coach speak.

As draft scout says, it's "all opinions", so possible the NFL scouts visiting both schools have a different view, and are looking at a subset or superset of these players. Maybe they don't see 15 legit prospects at WVU, or maybe they are eyeballing more at JMU. For perspective, WVU only had 5 draft picks last year, not 15. It could also be CYA "coach speak" in case they lose ... "like I said before, this was a very talented team we faced today"

What options do we have for those of us with Comcast in the Valley to watch this game? I'm not seeing it online anywhere but am I missing it?

Your only choice might be to use Roku or Apple TV to get the Big 12 or Mountaineer Football Channel.

So If I go out and pick up a Roku I can get the game? Would I just download the Big 12 or WVU app?

There is a “Mountaineer” WVU app for Roku and Apple TV. Also appears there may be a direct web/browser link to watch on computer or iPad.

Correct, that is what I had to do. I bought the Roku which was about the price of one ticket to the game.

‘Only’ 5 is alot. That’s above the avg for a P5. Once you add UDFA + guys who get rookie minicamp tryouts the # is probably at least 3-4x what are drafted. How many for JMU get UDFA + rookie minicamp tryouts versus how many are drafted? Going back over the years seems like its 4-5 for every 1 drafted.

You should be able to go to the WVU website & stream on a PC or laptop.
