Smacking down Arkansas as big as they just did is certainly quite impressive. The most impressive thing to me is how they did it.

There's no other G5 this year who did what North Texas just did on the road. The only other big G5 win over a major program as impressive was Houston beating down Arizona, However, that was at home. North Texas doing it on the road against an SEC school is more impressive in my eyes.

I think if they can run the gauntlet undefeated, we could have our first Conference USA representative in a major bowl.

Boise State lost this week. It's UCF or North Texas imho.

Seeing as how my team has basically no shot in conference this year... I would love to see one of our teams make a NY's bowl.

I am worried. We have that trip to Denton and, then the Championship game...

You didn't just beat Arkansas. It was annihilation. 44-17 is a beatdown and UNT is in position to make some moves this year.

North Texas had a great victory, but there is a lot of football left to play this season. North Texas needs to take it one game at a time. If we do that everything else will take care of itself.

it's them or UCF.....

you can book that battle moving forward....

you can't stop UCF's offense....

Beating Arkansas is a good win, beating them the way you did is impressive even if they aren't that great this year. That was a big win.

They even said that UNT could be competing for the New Year's Six bowl bid, if they go undefeated. I think that's accurate

UNT's enrollment is twice that of Arkansas. The budget is where the real discrepancy is.

Solid win for UNT.

You guys are overstating the value of this win though.

Arkansas also lost to a bad 1-3 Colorado State team that got blown out by Hawaii, Colorado, and by 38 points to Florida. Their only win so far is against Ark.

You also should have scheduled 2 games against power conference teams. Beating an Ark team that got beat by a bad Colo State is not enough of a resume booster, IMHO.

Very solid win though, congrats. Impressive.
