The dirty secret is all the p5 leagues but the SEC are overrated . There are 10 schools, 50 feet of crap and everyone else. Tv trying to convince me i give a damn about watching schools like wake, duke, cal, Purdue, indiana, wadhington state, tcu, vandy...because they are "p5" ? Do they really think we are that dumb?
Ive actually heard the dorks on tv prop up vandy because they played notre dame close. Lmao.

Kansas didn't even belong on the same field as Memphis in our series. What in the heck do they do with all that P5 money? How can they make more than 10x the money we do but can't field a team that is even remotely competitive with us?

That is not talked about enough. I know the coaching staff is number 1 for most of these Croots but if they end up getting seasonal depression up there I don't think the recruiting will stay good.
I expected a decent class when SF and the staff were just selling 'look how fun UCF's offense is let's do it here' but after a couple cycles I'm curious to see if it continues.
And I see Nebraska fans saying 'but look at Ohio State and Wisconsin'. The difference is yes those places get cold but Columbus & Madison are a lot more appealing than Lincoln.
That's why I think Vodka Tom will eventually get Texas up there as a Top 10 Program again. How hard is it to get a few program changing recruits to Austin, Texas?
By “seasonal depression” do you mean relentless heat and humidity day and night for 9 months of the year?
know several girls from the Philly area that loved UCF. You are not thinking about it from the perspective of a College Student. Orlando is a pretty fun place to be as an undergrad. Weather warm enough for 'day life' pool parties every month but January & February. Most 18-23 year olds prefer 'too hot' over gray & cold through May.
UCF obviously has the G5 problem but it's no mistake why 'sun belt' Programs always have an easier time recruiting

Security if they get canned. I can't imagine what UN would do if Frost does not work out. How many coaches are out there to replace him.

This, this, and this again. It's why despite Wisconsin having considerably more success than USF, they still have to battle with us for the same recruits in Florida (we'd never touch them up north). That warm weather, the tourist attractions, and the ability to go do something else will always be a sell. Of course it hurts when we're not the only show in town.

Yet all my Florida family and friends do is tell us how bloody hot it is all the time; cannot go outside can’t get in their cars AC can’t keep up. I know y’all love to point out how bad our northern winters are; yet I and many others spend more time outside that time of year. Maybe it takes a bit of toughness to live here that not everyone has? Bottom line I know Florida and it’s weather well and mostly it’s way oversold.

ive never seen it done until now. he caught the ball and stood there like he had waived fair catch when he hadnt. arkansas started walking off, the punt returner took off and ran the ball back for a touchdown.
he pretended he had waived and the refs didnt blow the whistle

Wow. LOL. Thanks Shere. Gonna have to youtube that later.
EDIT: Or I'll watch now. LOL.
Sad part for Arkansas is North Texas didn't even need a trick play to grind them into the dirt.
NT 44 - Ark 17. Salt in the wound. Best thing to happen to North Texas since those coffee mugs.

Memphis would wipe the field w/ TN, Ole Miss or Arkansas this year. Saw a guy on an OM message board wishing they had not let Henderson get away from South Panola and someone else said they hope the Rebs cancel next year's season opener in Memphis because we'll have most everyone back and they lose a good bit.
