RE: Troy @ Nebraska
Drove to Omaha this summer to watch some CWS and wore my TROY cap.Struck up lots of conversations with local fans whom most did not know we were on their schedule.I kept my comments fairly tempered but did say that whatever the score they would be impressed with our program ala our Wisconsin loss 3 years ago.

They have fantastic support for their program up there,Frost will turn it around.....or Brown will LOL

I’m not going to say anything about Nebraska stated above is untrue. They are often touted as having the very best fans in college football. They were once a dynasty but those times have come and gone. Can they get back there? Maybe, but it’s harder for them. What I did want to say stems from the comment above about their All-Americans because Nebraska was notorious for bringing in partial-qualifiers and non-qualifiers. Anyone curious should do some research and read about it.

I did not research that end of it. That would give them quite a contrast from the Academic All-Americans they did have. So they were being diverse I guess. That is only saying that diverse in the TOP of guys to the BOTTOM of guys academically.

In 80's to 90's 38 Academic All Americans most were starters and several NFL players. Just some impressive numbers and hope they get back to those days. To put that in perspective during the same time Duke had 5, Northwestern had 10 and Stanford had 22.
