We're a good team not great. Can't make dumb mistakes.

Arkansas St deserved the win. They are rightfully picked to win the Sunbelt.

Two game now Tulsa cost itself a chance to win. Have to learn how to make it happen, by hook or by crook need those wins to help build the team.

Good game red wolves

It's weird walking away a 9 point winner on the road and being unhappy with the way your team played, but here I am. We can't play like we did offensively against App and win. Too many penalties, and Hansen really had an off game throwing. We won because we have a very good defensive line.

Tulsa was always an unusual combination of a okay to decent opponent, whose best weapon is a great matchup for our defense. We thrive on shutting down running to the outside, forcing players back in, and slowing run first QB's. It's worked very well in league play.

The team that gives us trouble is going to be a team that can play sound, disciplined football, and can use the pass to pick up a lot of chunk plays. It's why SMU beat us to a pulp last year. Thankfully, we loaded up OOC play this year with run first teams to prepare for the run heavy Sun Belt.
