Judges in both Jonesboro and Miami have ordered AState and Miami to go through a 3rd party mediator to resolve last years cancellation. If a resolution cannot be found in mediation by Christmas, the case will kick back to the court system.

It looks to me like both Ark State and Miami still haven't finished their 2020 schedules. Why not just make up the game then?

These contracts for home-and-homes ought to say that if you cancel after you got your home game, you either have to pay or re-schedule the second game for a later date.

Miami has stated that they prefer to keep that spot open so they can host an FCS team and told us to kick rocks.

Yes, they said they didn't want to play us then, because they really would rather play an FCS game at home. They did offer to play us in 2024. I'm sure they would just buy the game out then and they would essentially pay less when you take inflation into consideration from 2017 to 2024. Terry told them it was ridiculous to not be able to give us a return game until 10 years after the game we played in Miami.
