Big game for sure, but most anticipated ever? I’d rather see any BG game or those Marshall teams from years past. Boise was a huge name when they came in. Navy drew a massive crowd. The University is probably overrated as a catch for die-hard UT fans. Casual fans probably will look at it as a bigger deal than I do.

I remember the Ohio U game in 1969 and CMU in 1979 being highly anticipated. The Ohio game got SI coverage and the CMU being the late afternoon regional ABC game because of the Glass Bowl's lighting.

I think it's the biggest game overall-fans, players, students, casual observers, access bowl implications... I mean there have been big BG games, Marshall games, Cincy, Minnesota, the Indiana game where Tait got hurt, #9 Pitt, top 10 Boise, butI think this one will have the most energy as long as the Rockets keep it close.

You know it's big when folks that don't normally go to the games are coming out of the woodwork looking for tickets. This happens once in a while, but this one seems more amplified. This is what I have been witnessing over the past couple weeks or so. From my perspective, living in Toledo, this is the biggest one I can recall over the past 3 decades...before that dunno, I'm not old enough!
Can't wait to go, we have good seats too. Super excited about this one and so are my friends and family.
Go Rockets!
