UT MBB assistant Jason Kalsow is leaving the program because his wife, Allie Clifton, got a job in Los Angeles. Tough break for the Rockets.

As a Clevelander, it pains me much, much more to see Allie head out to LA to cover the Lakers (yuck) than the Rockets losing Kaslow .... but that's just me.

Big loss. I know he was good at developing big guys like Boothe.

I agree and the same with the development of Knapke on the plus side I see Justin Ingram and Jordan Lauf are moving up so at least 2 young men who I am sure will do a great job are moving in.

Timing could not have been worse. Jason was a very committed to UT and Coach K. Not sure all of the other assistants were cut from the same cloth. He probably didn't have much choice give her opportunity. Good luck to Jason.

Tough Tough loss as Kalso was HC material and he was as important to K as McDonald was to Nichols

Jason will be greatly missed! It will be interesting to see who will coach the interior players as Massey, Barlow and now Ingram all have guard backgrounds as players and coaches.

So, if I understand this correctly. Justin Ingram has been promoted to Basketball Assistant, and Jordan F'ing Lauf has been promoted Director of F'ing Basketball Operations. Is that the gist of it?

Maybe from this post his frosh year? I awarded “F’ings” to athletes who unexpectedly had a huge match, race, game, etc. starting, IIRC, with a 16 point performance by walk-on Jay Shunnar in a rare Rocket win during the C@#&s years. Intended as a badge of honor.

A quick check shows Barry Church was the original honoree but his wasn’t exactly unexpected, it was just F’ing awesome, as we had grown accustomed to.
