I thought it would be fun to start some sort of official thread like this to update each week. Might be very educational for the rest of us to learn the roster and playmakers on your team that possibly weren't televised on national TV for all of us to witness.
None of us have time to watch all of it. For example, I missed the USF, Temple, and UCONN games yesterday downing P5 opponents I was tracking on ESPN Gamecast. I would have loved to watch them live. I'd at least like to see the highlights without scouring the Web, especially if they weren't on ESPN3 to stream online.
As we enter into Conference Season/Matchups, just thought it would be fun to converse with opponent fans sitting around us at Home or Away, and engage in intelligent conversations about threatening players on their team that concern us we are familiar with.
Here's Memphis highlights from week 3. If interested in this idea, then please share your team's Week 3 highlights heading into Week 4.
Great post, Thanks! Good stuff.
What is your impression of King so far? I'm thinking your Offense might be operating similar to Memphis this season. He's got two studs to target in Stephens (Stevenson?) playmakers. The QB isn't the playmaker, those two dudes are, King just needs to keep it simple and execute without errors.

its the opposite we think king is more the play maker than stevenson (even though we love stevenson)..stevenson shined vs arizona but overall king has thrown a td to 7 different targets
king holds the record for most passing touchdowns in texas high school history, and also a state champion track athlete..if him and kyler murray didn't overlap high school years. he could have been a 2 time texas gatorade player of the year (came in 2nd twice to kyler)
(edit: i should add this incase you arent familiar with texas high school football, kyler murray is debated as the greatest texas high school player ever)
its even more emphasized when we were up 38-0 on arizona with him in the game, and it became just a 3 score game when he went to the bench, and we had to put him back in for the last drive which he instantly scored again
so far king leads the nation in passing tds per game, and #8 among qbs in rushing tds per game (huge gap from him and the next qb in overall tds per game, 6tds per game)..he has yet to turnover the ball once, and all his games were vs fbs
-- note we had 4 dropped tds between tech and arizona
long story short we like king ALOT.

Great stuff and very informative, thank you for sharing. Hope you keep posting his highlights. I'll keep my eye on him and reading about him. Got any QB depth behind King?...Like another Greg Ward Jr. in your back pocket if King goes down in the middle of the game against Memphis, LOL.
Ed Oliver, I noticed how much it seemed he sat out in the 2nd half while Houston was struggling to contain TT's Offense. Announcers wouldn't let up about him chugging down electrolyte drinks on the bench, resting him due to time of possession, etc. Thought maybe he had been sick or something, or some sort of background context they didn't elaborate on because it didn't fit their G5 vs P5 narrative. They basically just said he was worn out in the 4thQ. Sounded like BS to me for the projected 2019 #1-2 draft pick.

sounds like bs but its true.... both head coaches noted it, tech's coach said they werent getting an inch running the 1st half but at halftime he noticed tech had already run 58 offensive plays by half time (for context thats an insane number) and said no matter how good you are you are getting worn out by that many plays
applewhite held ed out all 3rd quarter because he saw the same thing too & wanted ed to get some rest...note literally everyone on our defense at some point was held out from cramping, injury and fatigue from the game. the tv people just chose to focus on Ed....
and we have alot of depth behind king, none a s good as king, but sufficient, Tennessee starting qb last season is our back up, and a kid greg ward literally trained since high school is there too
