Lesson-if you are going to do something nice, do it quietly.

Today show raking Pitt and his charity over the coals for promising to build 150 homes and "only" building 109. Homeowners are suing for "substandard" homes. Houses were only around 130k or so.

Things they are suing for and showing on TV are wood rot and loose nails. Basic homeowner maintenance in a humid climate like New Orleans.

Poor Brad Pitt. He should've known better. We're talking about people that went into a stadium for cover, began fighting and defecating all over the place, and then expected a free stuff. Got money and instead of using it for stuff they needed bought TVs, Louis Vuitton bags, etc., even wore out their welcome in other places. Hotels had to evict them in some places because they were not paying for the rooms and destroyed them.

Sometimes it definitely does not pay to be nice. Too many people are aholes who feel entitled.
