RE: CAA Week 3 & Other Games
RU TD with 1 second left. RU doesn’t go for PAT, but kneels on it. RU 29-27, unless a miracle on kickoff, ballgame.
Edit: RU gets scoop and score on final play, so 2 TDs on last 2 plays of game. Final RU 35, StFU 27.

Unfortunately the ticks pulled their game out, but in happier news ODU lost to Charlotte 28-25 for a perfect start on the season so far.

I watched a good bit of that earlier. We would destroy both of them

RE: CAA Week 3 & Other Games
The CAA is a lot weaker than I thought it was going to be this year.
I thought New Hampshire, Richmond, and Delaware would be strong this year. Nope

However, Maine & URI are (so far) much stronger than expected

What’s if its just as strong, but different teams? I didnt have RU as playoff team but more like around .500...I think alot of their issues were from finding out Wed morning that instead if playing at home on Sat they had a 5 hr bus ride for a game Thur night..
So far VU, Maine & Elon look like legit playoff teams..

Villanova will go as far as their defense can take them and should be a legitimate team in the CAA race. Elon and Maine both have a problem at QB that prevents them from being serious contenders. Rhody has a better QB than either of them, but their overall roster doesn’t Have enough.
I see it as a 2 team race win very few solid tests along the way. The imbalanced conference schedule may produce a Paper Lion in the North that will be exposed come playoff time.
I’m expecting to see a logjam of teams with average conference records

ODU. What a dumpster fire, although I do love the silence a humbling 0-3 start has wrought. ODU plays VMI this season, so they have that game to look forward to. My question is how lopsided will the VT score be, and will Bobby and the Butterflies play a full 60 minutes, or squeal and beg for mercy?

VPN. I use ExpressVPN, requires a paid subscription but it isn’t that expensive. You can also watch Netflix and other stuff.

Oh wow. Wilder is going to be canned this year and they’re going to go all out to try and get Houston.

I want to know if their VT game will sell out. Their UNC game last year still had tickets available 24 hours out.

Wilder may indeed get shown the door at the end of this season, however, he was given a raise and extension just a couple seasons ago, and I doubt ODU will spend the money to buy him out. If ODU does change HCs ODU fans can wish and hope and pray all they want about luring Houston, but he’ll never leave JMU for that mess at ODU. Of course ODU fans will quickly convince themselves that Lou Saban will be their next HC, and that Saban would be lucky ODU gave him a tryout.

Maine has a problem at QB? Huh...that's news to me.
Chris Ferguson (So) - 32-59, 5 TD, 1 INT, 192 YPG
Maine won't be a "Paper Lion" since they play Villanova, Elon and URI this season. We don't play JMU, Delaware and Stony Brook.....JMU doesn't play Maine, Delaware and Albany.

I'll say that I enjoy the ODuh melt-down as much as the next, maybe even more!
But this loss falls squarely on Wilder.
1st Quarter: 7-6 Charlotte after a blocked PAT, fine.
2nd Quarter: Charlotte held to two field goals BEFORE ODuh's touchdown - they could have kicked the normal PAT and tied the game at 13 going into the half, but instead Wilder goes for 2 and misses? WHAT?
The second half goes similarly, but it was too late! Terrible strategy, really living up to the Old Dumbinion name... effing idiot - I'd be burning tickets too! Whatever, enjoy it suckas - you deserve this $#it At least some of them are still rooted in reality to know that JMU would curb stomp them in Norfolk or Hburg!
