Kentucky blogger guy says in his unsupported opinion Kentucky has the "momentum" with Wiseman and is the co-leader for Hurt.

Why don’t they just label this as propaganda? Everyone knows Penny’s relationship is strongest with James and James know Cal will recruit Carey over him in a heartbeat. Penny will not do that even if he could. Those two don’t need to be on the same team with a boatload of 4-5 stars.

I don’t buy much of that-no details; just speculation by a blogger.

Just my opinion, but I think they are 2nd place for both. We're in good position for Wiseman and I predict Hurt to Kansas.

How do you recruit OVER the #1 player in the class?

To be fair, just bc a player is ranked somewhere doesn't mean a coach agrees w it. I think Wiseman dropped in a recent recruit ranking (granted it was only to 2). I still think our class looks like Wiseman/Watford/Jeffries/Dandridge. I'll take a class like that any and every year.

When you recruit a similar talented player to your #1 target, even if he is ranked 2cd or 11th, you are recruiting over your prospect. The player knows this.

Yes, typically the #1 player in the class will feel threatened if the coach recruits anything better than a 3* at his position AFTER getting a commitment from him.

KSR needs to get down to the corner along with Memphis Yankee. Both are out of touch. Kentucky is not getting either one of those two. Kensucky fans are in denial. Cal's ship is about to hit a major recruiting iceburg named Penny and is destined to sink soon.
