Is nettles moved way down on the chart after the fumble. That would be typical of Carey.

Yeah I really worry about anyone who makes a mistake, chances of them being tore down and destroyed by Carey are high. I just wish Carey's was as rough on himself for his NUMEROUS bonehead in-game decisions as he was on his players.

Did you forget about that terribly under thrown pass against SDSU? Then, the following series he threw another one. Not saying that Santa wouldn't be better than Childers but he was far from being a clutch performer.

I think the difference is that Santa played like an inexperienced qb with big upside. Childers plays like an inexperienced qb with little upside.

Now all they need is a competent QB to get him the ball...

Let's not forget that Nettles fumbled twice but we got one of them back. A fumble is a fumble though.

And a coach who runs an offense where players are allowed to make plays, that's probably the biggest thing

Yea, he'll definitely have to fix that. Right now I like Harbs the best, and he is averaging 5.5 ypc I believe.

Really hope Tears will help the offense. Any idea when we're supposed to get our TE back?

Have three good backs and one fumbles twice in a game. What coach wouldn’t move the fumbling one down the depth chart?

It is at the core of what is wrong. Carey never seems to take responsibility and admit mistakes, be they in-game, personnel, etc. If he did then there would be changes. As long as Carey does not see his decisions as being wrong he is not going to make changes. That is not a shot at Carey; it is human nature.

I guess that's the real reason why he apparently hasn't even considered anyone else at QB. I believe that even bad games against MAC foes won't result in a QB change.

RE: Spencer Tears?
So now that we have our so-called #1 WR back does that mean we won't have to hear the excuses about the offense being so bad because of two missing players?

Childers is still extremely limited in his capabilities. He's not going to magically look better because of one or two players.

Anyone ever notice how Tom Brady always turns WRs and TEs no one has ever heard of into stars? The Patriots continue to win despite it.

And we still have the same inept coach, until that changes, expect NO changes to a poor offense.

I heard justin Fuentes recommended childers to carey on his way out of Memphis. Pretty sure he did it as a joke and never thought the dumba, ass carey would actually play him.
