Susan Collins and Lisa Murkowski aren’t likely to grow a sac and most likely to vote against Brape Kavanaugh.

When the Dems changed the Senate rules to push through candidates with a simple majority, many many people warned them that this would turn around to bite them. And it did.

Now the playbook has turned to examining everything a nominee may ever have possibly done even if it is decades old, even if he / she was a teenager at the time, and if we can find anyone who will make an allegation then the nomination must be withdrawn.

This is a terrible precedent, and will likely come around to bit the Dems one day.

The man is unquestionably qualified, and should be confirmed by a wide majority.

And you know it.

And I agree, its a terrible precedent. My hunch, is if Merrick Garland were sitting on the Court, right now, as he should be, then we would not being going through these procedings. This opening would belong to Neil Gorsuch, and he would already be confirmed.

And this is all they have.

She was in a drunken haze. Calls all her friends about it saying she doesn't remember what happened and asks if Kavanaugh did this. They don't remember it. She thinks it might have happened. She knew Kavanaugh so it might have been him. After 6 days with nobody able to confirm the story but lots of prodding from Democratic activists, she decides it was Kavanaugh.
