But they are playing Rutgers. Explain to be again why the B1G makes lots of money off Rutgers because of all the TVs in the tri-state area. Why should anyone in the tri-state area care about Rutgers sports?

Still, it's great to see the B1G sucking so badly.

Yeah no clue, to be honest. Certainly a fairly good presence in the New Brunswick area but beyond that people just don't care. I'm going to a Rutgers game this year but will not be wearing red. I want to see Penn State in person and I'm sure the crowd will be pro-Nittany Lions overall.

RE: Open Thread - Week 3
3-0 (0-0)

Clemson wins 38-7 but despite the score it wasn't very pretty.

O line can't consistently get a good push and got blown up at times.

Secondary still making stupid mistakes.

Punter can't boom one to save his life.

Huegel missed two FG.

Three turnovers....Bryant's INT and Choice's fumble were just stupid. Lawrence had a ball tipped then picked off that was just a good play by the D.

Kelly Bryant got shook up just before the half and despite leading the final scoring drive did not play in the 2nd half.

On to Georgia Tech.

Clemson has Georgia Tech, Florida State, Boston College and Syracuse still on the schedule... guess which two of those will be tough and which two will not?

North Texas fake punt fair catch returned 90 yards for a touchdown. Incredible play and they’re up 14-0 on Arkansas.

You're assuming that the B1G wanted Rutgers because of their (Rutgers') fan support. I don't think that was the motivation. I think they wanted Rutgers at least as much for the fans and alumni of the midwestern B1G schools who live and work in the New York metropolitan area. And there are a lot of them.

Yeah, the Razorbacks are... not very good this year.

BTW, the team that beat Ga Tech last week (USF) is losing to Illinois. Nobody loses to Illinois (not even UNC).
