Had their chance
21 plus three FG's that were within easy range........would have been a nice win. The first half was a joke.....maybe Tulsa isn't use to that many people in the stands........but in reality it was terrible defense......some of the worst tackling I've ever seen........I've seen a lot of high school games with better tackling. I can't count the times when Tulsa had 3 guys bounce off the runner.......time to practice tackling for the next week of practice.

RE: Had their chance
Hey jfisher, usually four or five of us who check in on the main Tulsa board.

https://csnbbs.com/forum-436.html

Come on over and talk, there are also game threads on the main AAC board if you want.

I agree it was a missed opportunity. Feel like it was the offense that stuttered though not the D. Some drives needed to finish and our passing game didn't get going till almost the fourth quarter. 3 (really 4) missed field goals killed us. Much better second half. Need to play more like that to have a good season.
