How are we going to win a game this year if we can’t score Touchdowns? Tears coming back is not the answer to scoring more than once a game.

What are touchdowns?

We won't win a single game with this horrendous offense. Our coaches need to go back to the drawing board and make some massive changes but they won't do a thing and blow next week's game, too...

We wasted a whole off season with a shatty qb. We should have put our eggs in another basket.

Blow next week's game? I have been screaming this whole season was blown last year. Even running table after this 0-4 OOC start wont salvage it for me. [/align]I haven't and probably wont watch any games this year.

Shouldn't the two picks, with one of them going for 6, be enough to get Childers benched like it did Santa?

Maybe it’s why I’m not as upset as some, but 2018 was about winning the mac. 2019 was about bigger Things. Too many youngsters a key positions this year. As long as Smith sticks around, next year could be special. Schedule and team wise.

This year just win the MAC. I think many of you will lov a macc come December.

Better find a juco or grad transfer QB before next season.

If we go 6-6 and asked to go to a bowl, please say no.

You believe we will see improvements on offense next year?

All this game shows me is that Childers hasn't progressed at all (surprise surprise). 100% winnable game for niu and have to see this garbage. That is what I associate childers to at this point. Have a great line and RBs but no QB to support. At this point put in Thompson for some plays.

Excellent point. But don’t think it’s going to happen. These coaches are hypocrites and idiots...

I posted about how Childers’ pushes throws in another thread vs good smooth mechanics. But here’s my deal:

We are a D1 football team and since Hare could not find a decent option at QB (though I don’t get how Santa was benched for much less). All last season we tried to figure it out, and whoops. With a decent qb we win last night.

I feel bad for Childers as I know he gave it his best. But this year and next year should be solid years on D and Oline. If we lose the home opener to Ill State next season because of an uneffective QB I will officially lose my ****.

Isn’t it sad that we’re already talking about next year? We have 10 more opportunities to watch our incompetent offense. I don’t feel bad for Childer. He just doesn’t have the skill set to lead this offense. Also his knowledge of our playbook is still minimal. I hate that the offense has to look to the sideline to run a play. It just looks like nobody is in sink.

As constructed we are a 5 win team at best, this could go as low as 3 wins. Million dollar D and 2 cent offense don't get you much.

I thought Ball State would be a win. Did you see how they played ND yesterday? We may not win a game this year. STF will run the excuse mill, and Carey will get an extension.

I think the bulk of our complaints needs to be directed at STF. Under his "watch" he has let the football program lose all momentum and get worse while letting idiot Rod Carey continue to coach. It's time for a new coaching staff to get us back on track.
