This loss hurts pretty bad.

Similar to South Florida 2016.

Norvell will learn from this.

But I agree somewhat. I think White wasn’t stable with a bum ankle and a slippery surface, and coach didn’t have some options he would like.

All he had to do was keep feeding Henderson. It was a no brainer.

We only needed 10 yards to get into FG range, and had the ball 2nd and 4 with roughly 1:30 left. I just do not understand the deep ball to Dykes.

So so right. Spot on.

Players not gonna enjoy drills this week. Water hoses on the ball carrier. Strip drills. Can't believe we were still carrying with one hand late in the game.

But, yes, bad play calling down the stretch. All coaches have these games sooner or later.

Patterson really struggled in the pre-season with kicking FG's. Couple that with a wet field and some swirling winds I think Norvell figured the odds were better with trying to get the ball in the end zone that attempting a 40+ yard field goal.

Also obvious was that Navy couldn’t have stopped Henderson. Very frustrating to watch us not use our best player and take the loss. Reminded me of not giving it to Deangelo 4 times against Ole Miss when we had 1st and goal

IDK... Didn't we have a 3 and out on the previous possession with three run plays?

2 one yard rushes by Henderson followed by an incomplete pass.
