This game didn't knock us out of the AAC championship game, but it did narrow our margin of error. Lose another conference game and we're playing in Birmingham in December. [/b]

AAC West will be determined by who else may beat Houston. Navy will lose a couple. We have Houston and UCF at home so that may be a factor in our favor. But outside UConn few AAC teams are gimmes.

I have a hard time calling a 1 point conference loss on the road a bad loss. It just isn't.

The rain made us one dimensional offensively, and it still took 4 turnovers and some crappy play calls down the stretch to beat us.

Agree with most of this. Not sure if it will end up a bad loss, but I suspect it will. I guess that Perry, with his frame, will not last the season for Navy playing like he plays. And pretty much these conditions were the only way Navy was going to beat us. We were obviously the better team, and I don't think it was close.

Ditto, I'm just sore that the better team went home with a loss.

The loss just makes the Houston game that much more important. Still a ton of football to be played. The west is going to be wide open this year between us, Navy, and Houston.

Houston looked pretty good the few minutes I got to watch them.

Agreed. Navy is just not going to be very good this year, and this is going to end up being a pretty bad loss.

RE: Navy played a great game
Something I have never understood is how disparaging an opponent shows how much better the other is win lose of draw. Seems to me it lessens that team. Because you believe Navy is not a formidable opponent and that the Tigers were pitifully inept show a total lack of respect for the teams, the players, their coaches, and the game itself. Sometimes I just think people who do this are just trolls from other programs pretending to support while in fact they hope to diminish the support of true fans.
It was a very hard fought game in miserable conditions. I am disappointed that the Tigers did not win, but the outcome does not determine my perception. Any Tiger fan can understand this. And any Navy fan can also. Any fan of the game knows this.

NAVY had 1 Penalty.... Just 1, Yea, that's right, we played a bunch of choir boys.

1. Uno. Un. Unus. Edin. Eyner. Odin. Ett.

Horse crap. Play the game and have them wear Tulane jerseys and we wear Navy jerseys and we win by 21.

Navy gets a lot of advantages that other programs simply don't.

That face mask penalty on us was a classic officiating call v. Navy. He didn't even come close to the face mask.
