Hate to keep being a weather worrywart (and we proved to be good mudders yesterday) but we'll need to keep an eye out on the storm before flying into Charlotte next weekend. You have to figure more than a couple NCAA football games are in jeopardy too for next weekend if things pan out as predicted.

Yeah. Seems so. Hoyer is 6 foot listed by comparison.
That's correct. Andie and I are both 5-6, which is probably in the bottom third for D-1 keepers (we come by it naturally...dad was all-Ivy but only 6-1). But to the later point, Shockley (my era) and Czyz (her era) were shorter and obviously both had great careers at Rice.

RE: Soccer 09/07 - 09/09
Soccer at Charlotte on Sunday is postponed. No word of a make-up date yet. The latest Florence projections have the storm moving a bit south so perhaps Charlotte is spared from some of the worst but this just makes sense. First off, there are way too many unknowns. But secondly and way more importantly, Charlotte is one of the cities that a lot of people will be heading towards as they escape from the worst of the storm. And there is just no reason whatsoever we should be taking up any hotel rooms over these folks.
