Unfortunately for SMU fans, Ben Hicks is a junior.

Raining pretty hard here now and looks like more storms on the way... could be a really long night in dallas.

Most likely a weather delay as heavy lightening storm on campus now.

Kinda concerned this one might get ugly earlier than N Texas. Hopefully the Ponies got some things fixed during practice this week and come out looking more comptititive.

When the hire was made, I thought it was a pretty decent hire. When Sumlin left, Sonny was my preferred pick over Levine--but word is he wouldnt take a deal with any buy out. I chalked up Sonny's malaise at Cal to being on unfamilar recruiting turf.....but last week has me wondering if I totally misjudged the guy. On the other hand---maybe the talent on hand at SMU isnt as good as Chad made it look....makes Chad even more impressive in retrospect if thats the case.

Right now, Im hoping its just growing pains under a new coach. Its more fun in the West when SMU is doing well.

Been up to see USF at SMU twice now... really beautiful campus and a great stadium. If I were younger might have liked to go to school there!
