At this point, Kavanaugh is guaranteed 52 votes to confirm (all R’s + Manchin), unless somebody finds proof that he is a serial killer or something like that. There’s about 5-6 other Dems who will take the political temperature and make a decision at the last minute. Of those 5-6, none of them actually *Want* to vote for Kavanaugh so it won’t surprise me if they don’t. But probably a couple will feel like they have to for political reasons.
