Huh?

Article Titled: Which former Memphis football players made 53 man NFL rosters?

Quote:Seven former Tigers made rosters. They are:

Bobby McCain, Dolphins, cornerback; Ron Leary, Broncos, guard; Jordan Devey, Chiefs, offensive lineman; Anthony Miller, Bears, wide receiver; Arthur Maulet, Saints, cornerback; Alan Cross, Buccaneers, tight end; Jake Elliott, Eagles, kicker.

Forgot at least Genard Avery with the Browns....

Then...in an article titled ".....MEMPHIS football players....":
Quote:There are by far more former players for the University of Tennessee, as 26 former Volunteers made rosters for this week's games.

Goes on to list each of the 26, as well as former Vanderbilt, MTSU, and TSU players.

That is about as weak as it gets. Avery, Gotti, Poe. Who else? And that was in 15 seconds with zero research.

Did Moses Frazier not make it? He caught 3-4 TD passes in preseason. All he does outplay better players.

Practice squad

I've forgotten more about college football than the Twitter boys at the CA know, combined.

They should hire tigercanes

I am so glad the Daily Memphian is going on line soon. I gave up my print subscription to the comical appeal several months ago and i will cancel my digital subscript the day the Daily Memphian publishes its first daily. I will have to find another source for my Sunday Doonesbury, nothing else in that phony blog needs replacement. It is all poorly written, factualy incomplete. and incompetently edited.

For the first time since well before the Civil War, Memphis is without a paper of record. That will soon be corrected.

Have they come out with an exact date yet? Getting tired of the generic articles from the C.A.
