Madison is almost like the Germantown of Huntsville. I visit a couple times each year. I'll have the guys about it when I visit the 23rd and see how the locals like it.

I am a local (Athens, Al) and most people I know hate it, not to mention how much it further promotes Alabama’s “trailer trash” image. I found out that “Trash Panda” is a slang term for a raccoon but not many people really know that. Whoever came up with the name needs to quit smoking the cheap stuff.

I’m not fond of it at all.

Personally I preferred the Comet Jockeys. At least it is a reference to the area’s place in space exploration history.
