Exclamation Thank you, WVU!
For (1) beating the hated Tennessee Volunteers, and (2) handing the SEC an OOC loss (you're the only ones so far).

And thank you Hokie Mark for taking a slightly better than mediocre Va Tech squad into Tallahassee and handing the ACC's normal contenders their 3rd blow out loss of the young year. F.S.U., Miami, and Louisville all now have bad losses. Should Clemson stumble in College Station (somewhat of a long shot) I'd say the ACC SOS would be in the can!

Schadenfreude, it sometimes bites those who are hoping for the ill!

Oh, and Tennessee is nowhere near an SEC defensive unit yet and could likely finish below Vanderbilt. 04-cheers

Your VT D looked good enough to contend for the ACC. Your QB has a lot of fundamentals to cover if your offense is to reach contention level. He has to learn to read defensive changes at the line and learn to look off his primary receiver.

WVU on the other hand is fine. The OU/WVU game at the end of the season will mean something this year.

Agree on both VT and WVU.

Schadenfreude or not, I still hope Tennessee goes 0-12 this season.

Since when did losing to the defending National Champion considered “a bad loss”? If losing to Alabama is now considered “a bad loss” every team in college football will have a bad loss, some teams in The SEC will have multiple bad losses because Alabama is going to spank that league. Don’t understand that logic? It is only considered a “bad loss” if it happens out of conference?

I would think that Georgia would have something to say about that. And apparently Alabama has two hate games to get through this year, L.S.U. and Auburn.

You guys should just be looking out for Kentucky!
