The new "old" ULM look is a great upgrade.
Troy is among the handful doing chrome where it doesn't look like crap and among the few to use a non-standard numeral font that is readable.
Georgia Southern kudos for not going gimmick look.
AState's numerals are near unreadable. I thought it was just me getting old but even going through game photos I had trouble sorting out numbers. Best use of the wolf logo so far but really prefer the stAte logo.
Cajuns have gone more classic wasn't long ago they were the team with unreadable numbers, nice improvement though I think it's a few years old.

Yep we were celebrating when Hansen threw a TD bomb to #9 Jonathan Adams. Turns out it was #5 Kendrick Edwards. Terry loves the look though as he’s communicated that to me via email.

And I thought it was Ogbebor who drug the defender into the end zone (8) then realized it was Adams (9)

Since it’s not twill, the numbers have the tendency to “fold”.

I actually prefer our White helmets, red top and white pants.

Now you're talking. Then we'd be styling.

1. Louisiana - Easily the best look of the week. Love a classic simple look with twill numbers.
2. App State - Really like the road look for App. Kind of reminds me of the Hamilton Tiger Cats of the CFL. I’m usually not a fan of matte black helmets without a stripe of some sort, but the jerseys make up for it.
3. Georgia Southern - Obviously it’s a navy version of Alabama which is a good look. It gets knocked down to #3 because Southern does not use twill numbers and the numbers are inappropriately small.
4. Georgia State - I really like this look. Clean and simple and the only team to use a satin finish helmet. A lot of blue, but doesn’t feel overwhelming.
5. ULM - I like they brought back the old school look. I like the twill numbers, but they use the same goofy number font as Arkansas State and like Georgia Southern, the numbers are too small.
6. Coastal - Unique color with the teal. Helmet doesn’t require a stripe as it already has a gloss finish. I don’t like the horizontal stripes above the knee that most of the Under Armour schools have, but overall solid look.
7. South Alabama - A lot of red. I agree with an earlier poster that they need to incorporate more blue. They use the twill numbers, but they are in a weird font and are too narrow in width. Sort of a blah look.
8. Arkansas State - I’ve had conversations with our AD about this. Our black uniforms are actually pretty good, but these are not. I absolutely HATE the Adidas screenprint duct tape numbers. HATE! Go to twill and this will move up the list. Plus we use the goofy number font like ULM, but at least they are appropriately size so we’ve got that going for us. Love our helmet stripe, but much prefer the stAte logo on the helmet.
9. Troy - Similar number material as Arkansas State which isn’t a good look. Chrome helmets were a fad that you see less of. Like us, way too much screenprint. I’ve never been much of a fan of the font they use for the name on the front of the jersey.
10. Texas State - The Gold is a terrible look and really makes the Adidas tire tread pattern stand out. I agree they look like practice jerseys. Most of the time less is more, but not in this case.

We use sewed on numbers. I agree with the particular font we use on the numbers the last couple of years, I'm not a big fan of it. Maybe we'll switch it up soon.

I just remember screenprint from when y’all visited us 2 years ago. I guess they switched. The number size is still comically small. Still a great look though even with that.

We've been using sewed on numbers since we moved up. In 2014 one of our favorite games was to see how long until they started popping off of Jay Ellison and Darius Sapp.

We did switch away from glossy numbers recently though.

That’s what it was. Those glossy numbers threw me off.

Here's a close up of Saturdays uniforms where you can see better. I cannot agree more about the tiny numbers. I dont understand why we have switched to that, it seemed to coincide with us switching to Adidas from Nike.

Here's another good look at our uniforms with the logo visible.

The small numbers are terrible. Personally I love the old (no frills) look. I also don't mind having the one home game each yr where they introduce a new uniform. Majority of players like it as do some of the fans.

I also like the white helmets with the GS.
