They still have a coach but why not start thinking about it?

Won't matter who they get.... That's a hard place to go in and try to win games.

I'm not a fan of Turner Gill's coaching skills so I'd rather replace him. Therefore, I am offering him back to Kansas.

Even after this last game? Are you serious? He deserves full support through this season for reassessment.

Liberty went through this exact situation last year with Baylor before finishing 6-5 for the third straight season. He did better with Rocco's recruits. The ODU win was a step in the right direction but he needs to stop playing down to opponents and be more consistent. This is a Big 12 board so I'll keep it brief.

Brett Bielema will be the next head coach. Him and Jeff Long are on the same page when it comes to a football program.

Well, conference foes would certainly have to prepare for a different kind of offense!

Bielema would be solid but I think he has a low ceiling. I don't know if he'd accept the job. He would be a bunt single when they should be aiming for a home run. It can't get worse on the field.

BB would take the job quickly and Kansas isn't getting a homerun coach. They would be lucky to land a coach like him.

How much does Bielema have left in the tank? I don't know that his offensive style will do well in the Big 12. He looks like a retread and I don't expect recruits to favorably respond.

They should go after a young coach with a strong recruiting pipeline. If he fails, it can't be any worse than what it is now.
