Are you an ESPN+ subscriber?
If so, how do you receive it?
What did you watch on it in Week 1?
Is it easy to subscribe/unsubscribe ala Sling?

Thanks.

Yes. Roku.
Nothing on Week 1, was busy. Have my Bears on it this week and rest of the year.

RE: Are you an ESPN+ subscriber?
Roku.

Only complaint so far is there is no category for “NCAAF”.

So the CFB Week 1 replays are stuck in the section as all the soccer/lacrosse clutter.

It wasn’t like that on espn3.

Yes, at different times watch on my iPhone, tablet, or Roku

Was easy to cancel when I did it in July. Re-signed up. Well worth it if you like soccer and G5 college sports.

I wanted to get it for CFL but I can't justify that yet.

The complete 30 for 30 series is worth the price as well.

No. None of the games I want to watch or care about are on there yet (AAC games). If and when AAC games get moved there, then I will think about it.

Yep. AppleTV 4K. Watched the Marshall game. I took advantage of the 30-day free trial.

RE: Are you an ESPN+ subscriber?
I was a little disappointed. I thought the quality of the video would at least improve now that it's a service that's paid for. I actually think the feed is worse than ESPN3. Feeling a little ripped off honestly.

That's what got me to sign up initially. Also, I watch other sports -- basketball and soccer in addition to CFB, and there's a free MLB game every day as well. For someone whose only sport is CFB, maybe it's only worth it in the fall.

The picture quality is good on Roku and on my phone, though like any other streaming product it probably isn't for you if you have slower-speed internet service.

Thanks.

Signed up last week to watch the Rice-PV game. I use a Roku to access the content. Picture for the game was fine---looked no different than ESPN-3 to me. I did notice ESPN3 now has significantly less content. It looks to me like they have migrated the majority of ESPN-3 content to ESPN-Plus.

RE: Are you an ESPN+ subscriber?
I signed up for the 30-day trial so I could watch Miami last Saturday, unfortunately it falls just outside our next scheduled ESPN+ game in October. Might consider keeping it, I'm not sure how it'll affect MAC basketball.

RE: Are you an ESPN+ subscriber?
I found the picture quality excellent, but that could have been because I was watching it on an AppleTV 4k on a 4k tv?

What type of internet do you have? And how many devices do you have on it when you tried to watch?

Picture quality is going to depend on your ISP and the internet speed you are paying for far more than your TV.

E.g., my experience with WATCH/ESPN3 is that picture quality tends to be perfect for games that are also airing on TV, because most are watching on TV and thus not crowding the bandwidth on the internet.

But games that are only being shown online often lag and glitch.

That's true whether I'm watching on my state of the art 4K TV or on my $80 unbranded Chinese knockoff tablet.

Funny thing to say, as my understanding is that PLUS is loaded with G5 football.
