So what you really meant to say.....

on a rainy Saturday 17,779 at the Rock 04-cheers

Dont forget 39% difference between scanned and announced. But it looks like a good showing from S.Miss and not many others in CUSA can say that

Did you see the crowd either personally or on the tube? TV cameras did not shy away and showed it from one end to the other, up and down.

Nope and I take it you're not one of those 29,176 or 17,779 at the Rock ?

RE: On an rainy Saturday
That looked like 29k. Uniforms and helmets looked good.

New QB Abraham seems accurate so far. We played a bunch of kids, including 6 QBs. Abraham throws a nice out pattern. Quez Watkins is just a sophomore!

Defense was what I expected, dominant. They swarmed. JSU had no time to throw the ball. They'll get a better test next week from ULaMo's QB.

We're going to have a running back controversy soon. Anderson looks good. Parks wasn't getting anything.

The actual number if ever known is closer to the 29 than the 17.
Very good atmosphere tonight.
Between the larger than normal amount of butts in seats, the new amped up sound system and the jackson state band i felt like a autistic kid at a spelling bee

I had estimated a little over 30K.

Actually thought 30k but close. Best atmosphere in awhile. JSU had 5k! There. Considering the rain I was expecting 22k maybe it's a good sign for the year.

I did not watch the game so I have no clue if there were 30k, 20k or 10k.....

I was just having a little fun going by the article posted on here and a S. Miss fan starting another attendance thread. If you say it was closer to 29k your guess is better than mine. Since I never seen 1 second of the game

Way, way down south in Miss. you can get a little tablet looking gadget and while sitting on the 30 can make a few clicks and game shows up on the screen. There is a slight chance they may zoom in on yourself or a friend. Miraculous device, dont know how it works but you might want to check to see if its available in your area now.
