RE: Iowa recap. HU
I agree that we should have seen either Thompson or Hall in the 4th quarter. The game was over and how much worse could it have been? Why wouldn't Carey wants to see 1 or both in game action?
The author states that Hall has a strong arm. That is contrary to what we have heard here.

Not sure why my comment got deleted, but I agree and I’m hoping Carey reads what the fans think and or Frazier.

He has a strong arm. A wildly inaccurate strong arm.

Whereas our current QB is accurate?

Not at all. I’m good with trying Hall. Marcus misses by 2 yards. Hall will miss by 5 yards, but then run for 20 on the next play.

Childers, Graham, Hall, Thompson......and Carey says we have the deepest QB corps in a while? The man is insanely nuts. I wonder if he believes any of the crap that comes out of his mouth?

Yea that's one of the dumbest things I've heard him say. Well, we could be deep and never know it because we keep playing Childers even though we can't move the football with him in there.

At this point I don't believe we have a good QB out of the 4 who were named.

Sure. At least on the 7 yard or less routes. Probably 65% or so yesterday. Maybe 12/18.
It's those other pesky routes of 10+ yards. You know, the 2/7 or so with and int.
Man does he suck.

Making big plays on 5 yard out routes when receiver os blanketed would he tough task for any QB. Childers is not a magician. The problem is with coaching. Until that changes, it doesn't matter one bit who plays QB. Not one bit

That’s actually a BS statement. We saw how Santa did last year when it came to passing, especially the deep ball. He was successful. Childers is not, period.
