I know Illinois is a poor Big Ten Team and missing five starters (injury/suspension), but this is still a game that would have been rough on Kent in the past. And now 16-3 Kent!

Was on vacation all this week with my family, my dad and sister are Illinois grads. They asked me how Kent was and they seemed relieved they weren't getting a tough opponent...never mind!

Unfortunately, our offense couldn't get untracked in the 2nd half. Still, we were competitive on the road against an SEC bowl team with a new starting QB, mostly new starters at WR/TE, and a rebuilt OL (two guys out hurt, hopefully just short-term).
