RE: Mike Raita: Worse than the DJ
I had no problem at all with Raita. But please, do something about the DJ. Band needs to play MORE, DJ needs to take more breaks. I can see having SOME DJ stuff I guess, but we're at a football game. I love the marching bands. The band didn't do the deal where 10-15 of them went to different spots in the stadium and play. I always like that. Overall good crowd, fun experience, and much, much better food choices.....even better than last year.

What was up with the band only playing 2 songs at halftime, then didn't even play the fight song coming off the field?
Band is great. Great crowd. Had a great time.

Nothing new there. The band has played a short program early in the season and expanded it as the season goes on for years.

I didn't mind Raita. As we try to build a fanbase, I can see how the game day host thing keeps things entertaining for the average fan.

I hated it. Super annoying. He looks like a turtle.

I didn't mind Raita until the Dragon Clap, or whatever we're calling it. We didn't need instructions to clap last year. We don't need them this year. Made it feel more contrived and less organic.

I hate the ref with the red hat calling the long TV timeouts. Mike Raita keeps us entertained during those long timeouts. I like it.

Well, it's not like he was at any of our games last season to know better.

Raita a lot of the times either acts like a 3 year old or acts like he is talking to 3 year olds.

I hope someone reads this and takes it to heart. I was looking forward to it because I'd told a guest about it, and Raita stomped all over it. It really bugged me on a night when not much did.

He was MEH. I thought the gimmicks stepped on the band's time some.
