Obviously Fumbles' latest ploy to drive away fans and offend hot chicks ("I've seen your legs!"). Ray must have fapped every time that grating voice started braying over the PA. For some reason, every time he appeared I heard the wisdom of Mojo Nixon:

They did the same thing last year with an unknown guy...

He's a powerful argument for setting our kickoff at the same time as bammer's.

My opinion need more band playing and less DJ.
What was up with the band only playing 2 songs at halftime, then didn't even play the fight song coming off the field?
Band is great. Great crowd. Had a great time.

Like in high school bands, you need quite a bit of practice to get in the full program.

The band probably hasn't had enough time to get in the full program.

Absolutely. More band, less K-Tel Stadium Rock, 1977 edition. Would love to have the band over on the other side to play at us.

The band got stepped on by the DJ in the stands a lot. They would start a song, and the DJ would start a few seconds later. I don't remember swimming upstream that much when I was there. Maybe there were some communication problems or something.

The show is short right now because they probably haven't learned all of it yet. When I was there, we never had the full show ready for week one.

In general, I can't stand Mike Raita. He didn't bother me all that much last night, but the legs thing was stupid. Hashtag me too anyone?

It seemed like he was trying to create a big atmosphere, but we already had one. Lay out and let the moment happen. It reminded me a lot of Troy games with their old IN-COM-PLETE PA guy.

I'm happy we have football. Raita didn't bother me. We will take in all the unemployed media members that were critical of us. Bring em on. All except barker that POS.

His UAB commentary used to make my blood boil. It took me a few minutes to figure out it was him, because I assumed he was pretty comfortable up in his ivory tower and would never come down to be a hype man for Alabama-Birmingham.

That said we do have other media members that work for us I hold in high regard like Steve Irvine and really enjoyed having Kevin out there.

I didnt have a problem with that stuff either. Seemed to keep the crowd's interest and was moderately entertaining.

I thought the Raita bits were entertaining enough. I agree about the DJ playing way too much, just let the band do their thing.

Raita didn’t really bother me. My only problem with raita is when he ditches the gregarious clown persona and tries to get all serious about things he doesn’t really know. Clown Raita can mc all he wants if that’s what we are going for. Personally I’d rather just let band play.

Ive had enough of Mike Raita ever since I knew there was such a thing as Mike Raita.

Everyone is trying too hard to entertain the fans these days. It's mainly due to all the TV timeouts and wasted time. Most games could easily end a half hour early without them. Just play the game.

Also, I noticed we paid for the fire and no works.

Raita didn't bother me.

And the Thursday night thing turned out fine. I drove over, saw the game, now I have a 3 day holiday weekend back in Atlanta with my family.
