2018 FB season ticket sales
Any of you guys have real numbers on ticket sales? I haven't heard anything from USM, but I might have missed it.

I'm sure ODU is up, w/ VT at home. I'd expect FAU and NT to get a bump in sales as well.

We are usually around 14K, give or take. Last year we were down around 12K, but have a bump this year with NCST coming to town.

Without any official numbers, I think that ODU has sold ~13K season tickets since we had less than 1000 tickets for VT left before we moved to a 3 game mini-plan.

This is one area Western is usually in the top 5 or so of CUSA in....9 to 10k since moving up and that doesn't include club seating which was sold out till this season . Dont have a clue about this season but wouldn't be shocked if it's not a lot lower. As I said this is the first year without a waiting list in the club area.

Next year it will be a lot lower if this AD is still making excuses for his stupid hire

In my opinion UAB is going to be #1 for season tickets sold, last year and this season....probably bottom half of CUSA before the program was shut down

I would expect WKU to be WAYYYYY DOWN. I don’t know that for sure, but there has been a substantial waiting list in the last for the Harbaugh Club, and they’ve been advertising for sales of it. Probably our least excepted coach in quite some time.

RE: 2018 FB season ticket sales
I did see an article a while back about a surge in season ticket sales for ODU because of VT being on their home schedule. Most of the 'positive' articles I've seen on season ticket sales have been related to excitement about a new coaching staff change or some 'key' home games.

Mass majority of the articles talk about season ticket sales being down across the country, G5 and P5.

Season tickets for football are a funny thing at UAB. It's tough to get folks to buy a season ticket for such a huge stadium. But now with the new stadium coming, the ticket office is advertising that they are setting seating priority based on current season tickets sales... don't know if that will boost it, but it will definitely help.

I'm interested to see the UAB game tonight to see how their crowd looks. I'm hoping they can continue the trend from last season.

Rumor at UNT is that there is a slight possibility of this opener being the first sellout in history. And, playing hated SMU doesn't hurt. I don't expect a sellout. But, it should be packed. There are positive vibes with both the alumni and students.

They are saying season ticket sales are definitely up.

Rice is claiming most season tickets sold in 12 years.

I'm unconvinced based on last week's game though as the crowds didn't look much better than normal.

What's the limit? Is it something like 80% of stadium capacity?

I think around 14k. We had to allocate 2k to VT and the rest are students, band, etc.

They are selling the window chair seats in the touchdown club, this will push the regular seat people back outside into they’re seats and it’s adding more seats to sale. As far as I know there is still a waiting list for regular seats and these won’t last long

I’ve heard that UNT season ticket sales are up 30% this year over last year after going up 80% last year. So we have sold a lot more season tickets this year than we did 2 years ago

It's smart, that's for sure! Even if you just get a handful more season tickets is a positive that costs the school nothing. Also, the people who jump on board will have something to brag about for years once the new stadium opens. That's the kind of thing that gets people hooked or hooked deeper.

Charlotte probably at 5-6k but that's a complete guess. Maybe 7 but cant imagine it's higher than that.

Seriously, UNT season ticket sales saw a 80% increase last year? What drove that?

RE: 2018 FB season ticket sales
I haven't seen UAB release a number, but I know last year we sold over 10k for the first time. I also know we sold out the club seating and season parking passes this year so that's a good sign.
