As for must sees, if you are interested in the history of the Marshall plane crash and such then I highly recommend the Memorial Fountain on campus, the plane crash site which is in Wayne County, WV off of Exit 1 when you first come into WV from Kentucky, and then the cemetery that other Marshall fans are about to blast me for because I can't remember the name but its where the unknown people from the crash are buried up on the hill over looking the city.

Marshall Hall of Fame Cafe is a good place to eat and pretty neat for sports junkies. Fat Patty's is right beside the stadium and is a good sports bar to get something to eat. I think the food is over rated but everyone else loves the place. Also feel free to stop by any Marshall tailgate as I'm sure our fans will offer you free food and drinks. Message me when it gets closer to the game if you want as you are more than welcome to tailgate with us.

I'm sure others will add a lot more to this list than I can add. If I can think of anything else I will add to it.
Didnt Ruffin get buried there also? I have a cousin who worked with him in Jackson ms for a while

Spring Hill Cemetery. And yes, Nate is buried there. And just FYI, the firefighters found a player’s wallet and not a playbook which told them it was Marshall’s plane that crashed.

RE: Marshall Fans
Thanks, for the suggestions guys. My wife and I enjoyed our time in Huntington. I had some of the best hush puppies that I have ever eaten at Jewel City. We explored downtown/the campus and my wife got a few things in the antique district. Huntington and Marshall seem like a great place to go to school and spend your college years. Everyone we talked to was super friendly. I look forward to coming back in the future.
