Pretty sure they will be wrong on the Gasparilla bowl as it's a AAC vs ACC bowl this year. We are the only conference who plays multiple A5 teams in bowls. We should have four this year.

My preseason predictions?

AAC champ gets the NY6 bid
AAC has more bowl eligible teams than spots
BYU will be the AAC opponent for the Frisco Bowl

BYU will be lucky to win 6 this year and had a very good chance of not making a bowl.

Man our bowl ties suck.

Unless an unknown in the AAC impresses experts, it is obvious that basketball is still our main ticket to respect. In the future, we have multiple prospects for national basketball success (Top 20). Not so much for football.

Boise needs to get past Troy 1st week then has to beat Oklahoma st 3rd week , if Boise starts out 3-0 then they very much could represent g5 in access bowl, of course unless Houston is ranked higher... will see
