Liberty watch parties
Any watch parties happening on Saturday for those of us not able to make the trip to Lynchburg?

Looks like game will be on ESPN3?

Whatever happened to these so-called Liberty TV?

The content is still produced by the flame sports network, it's just streamed by espn3. Same as previous years, this deal just locks us into ESPN without the option of running on any local networks.

Never understood why they don't have watch parties in the BBR for students and season ticket holders. Seems like something that could be sold to and underwritten by a sponsor.

I would have thought they would do a student bus trip up to LU. Maybe they did. A couple hundred Monarch undergrads could make some noise.

Great point or for ODAF to work with a local business set something up. Seems like a no brainer money maker.

Serious question. Would you want to be responsible for 100 people aged 18-22 on a road trip?

Not personally, but schools do stuff like that all the time. Plus, they’re adults, so mostly responsible for Themselves

I was on a student bus when we went to Georgia Southern for the FCS playoffs.

They sent 100 18-22 year olds to New Orleans when I was a freshman.

Everyone was fine.

Go to Dirty Buffalo on Colley. 9 times out of 10 they put the game on. BBall is usually when I have issues with them airing games, never football. They usually have a good ODU crowd. And if you're worried they won't have it on, call ahead.
